1,000th Worker Covered By Workforce Wearables

March 8, 2021

Lynn Asbury at Meister Cheese was recently recognized as the 1000th worker to be covered by MākuSafe’s industrial safety wearable. Lynn is a North Gen Associate at the artisan cheese producer that has been known for its award-winning, responsibly-sourced, American style cheese for more than a century.

This is an important milestone for MākuSafe as it reflects workers wearing production technology in the field since the company launched its 5th generation solution for sale into the marketplace in 2020. The prior four generations of technology had been extensively tested with beta clients and in pilots.

Lynn Asbury, Meister Cheese Recognized as 1,000th Worker Covered

Kendra Rathe, Meister Cheese’s dedicated Account Manager, took time to recognize Lynn and gift her with some MākuSafe swag to honor the occasion. Lynn said she was “pretty excited because she never wins anything!”

MākuSafe has experienced rapid expansion, despite COVID-19 related delays, with industrial clients in construction, food processing, heavy manufacturing, textiles and more. The MākuSafe solution consists of our cloud software platform, MākuSmart, in addition to hardware components – a base station kiosk housing 20 wearable safety devices that can be used by workers on two shifts. We install as many base stations needed to effectively cover all workers and shifts and provide ongoing service that includes training, hardware and software updates and platform optimization. MākuSafe is proud that deployments are occuring rapidly, and we are now nearing our 2,000th worker covered!
