MākuSafe at VPPPA Region 5 Conference

MākuSafe joined the VPPPA Region 5 Conference this week to present and exhibit. The annual conference is held at the Century Center in South Bend, IN June 12th through June 15th, 2023.
The event began with a networking reception on the beautiful campus of the University of Notre Dame. Can you guess who we ran into while we were there? We had the honor of meeting the inspirational Rudy Ruettiger, Yes, THE RUDY! Shawn Harrington, MākuSafe Client Executive had the opportunity to share with Rudy the work we are doing to help send more workers home safely each day with the use of our sensor-packed wearable device. Within minutes, Rudy himself had to try the device on and check it out for himself!
The VPPPA Region 5 Annual Conference featured many workshops and speakers. MākuSafe’s Tom West was a featured speaker on the topic: “How Workforce Wearable Tech Provides EHS Leading Indicators That are Reducing Incidents and Claims.”
