MākuSafe at Transplant Automotive Safety Forum
November 30, 2022
The MākuSafe team will head to the Transplant Automotive Safety Forum at the Rivian manufacturing facility in Normal, IL on December 5-7, 2022. The event convenes over 100 automobile industry safety professionals. Attendees will hear updates from all major auto manufacturers.
MākuSafe’s wearable technology solution is tremendously helpful to safety managers in the automotive industry. The wearable device, worn on the upper arm of a worker can detect environmental and motion hazards such as heat index, low light, air quality issues, repetitive or high-force motions, slips/trips/falls and more. The hazard data is sent real-time to a cloud analytics platform where the safety manager can see individual alerts, areas of concern in a facility and trends. In addition to the automated hazard data collected, the workers can press a button on the device to record an observation, near-miss or report a hazard directly to their supervisor.
