MākuSafe’s Tom West Presenting at Hawkeye on Safety Conference

On September 5, 2024, the annual Hawkeye on Safety conference in Coralville, IA, will once again bring together professionals dedicated to workplace health and safety. This event is a vital platform for sharing life-saving information and offering key networking opportunities for workers from all industries. The conference is known for its focus on providing practical training, empowering both safety professionals and rank-and-file workers to become safety leaders in their workplaces and communities.
This year, Tom West, of MākuSafe, will lead a session on September 5th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. titled “Leverage Wearable Tech to Reduce Injuries, Build Culture, & Supercharge Your HOP Efforts!” This session will discuss; the basics of HOP, the importance of building safety culture, why it’s critical to understand what work really looks like on the front lines on both good and bad days, and how technology can aid in these efforts.
