Revolutionizing Worker Safety: MākuSafe’s Impact at the 2024 NSC Congress

September 25, 2024

This year, MākuSafe made a significant mark at the NSC Congress, participating not only as an exhibitor on the expo floor but also in the Safety Tech Pavilion. As a proud partner in the NSC TechHub Marketplace and the WorkToZero initiative, MākuSafe took part in the prestigious Safety Innovation Challenge, focused on reducing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

Gamifying Safety: “Whack-a-Risk”

One of the highlights of MākuSafe presence at the Pavilion was their interactive arcade-style game that we called “Whack-a-Risk.” This fun and engaging experience allowed visitors to see MākuSafe wearable tech in action, identifying high-force movements, acceleration, and repetitive motion. The game demonstrated how MākuSafe detects potential risks in real-time, giving users a first-hand look at how advanced technology can enhance workplace safety. Attendees (and their kids) had a blast!

On display was MākuSmart, the data visualization platform that benchmarks insights from workers wearing MākuSafe devices. Attendees were able to see, in real-time, how MākuSmart identifies risks and provides detailed insights on when and where potential hazards exist.

Leading Innovation in Workplace Safety

MākuSafe continues to push the boundaries of safety technology, creating solutions that help companies protect their most valuable asset—people. With wearable tech and real-time data, they’re empowering organizations to make proactive safety decisions like never before.
