MākuSafe Wins Prometheus Award!

During a ceremony at Community Choice Convention Center on November 4th, 2021 MākuSafe was honored with the Prometheus Award for Insurtech & Fintech Company of the Year!
The win was particularly poignant for MākuSafe, as the tech startup has been a finalist for the award for several years, along with the ability to share in the win with a team that has doubled in the past couple years.
There are 14 different categories of Prometheus Awards that honor innovative companies and individuals in technology, business, education and government across Iowa. The FinTech & InsurTech category is particularly competitive in that it features the area’s most innovative, progressive, impactful and aggressively growing companies. This year’s category included VizyPay, LenderClose, BrokerTech Ventures and Jack Henry & Associates.
The Prometheus Awards are a vision from the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI), a member-based organization uniting Iowa’s technology community by connecting leaders, developing talent, driving public policy, and fostering diversity and inclusion.
