MākuSafe Wins NSC Safety Innovation Challenge!

MākuSafe is honored to announce that we were named the winner of the 2025 MSD Solutions Lab Safety Innovation Challenge, held during the National Safety Council’s (NSC) annual Safety Congress & Expo in Denver.

The challenge, supported by the NSC MSD Solutions Lab and Amazon, spotlighted ten breakthrough technologies aimed at preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) — the leading cause of workplace injuries. After presenting live on stage to an audience of more than 6,000 in-person attendees (with thousands more streaming online), MākuSafe was selected as this year’s winner through a combination of expert panel evaluation and audience voting.

Spotlight on Innovation: Forklift Safety

While the challenge centered on MSD prevention, media coverage also highlighted our latest innovation — MākuSafe Scout™, a forklift and pedestrian safety solution. During the live panel Q&A, we shared how Scout is helping organizations address one of the most pressing industrial safety issues: forklift-pedestrian interactions.
