MakuSafe presenting at IISC 2025 PDC

April 10, 2025

The Iowa-Illinois Safety Council is our local chapter of the National Safety Council, and we’re always happy to participate with their great team and attendee industrial organizations from our home area!

Tom West, MakuSafe VP will be speaking from 2:00 – 2:45 pm on WEDNESDAY, April 23, 2025 in Session 3B entitled “How Wearables, AI, & Machine Learning Can Supercharge Your Safety Program!”

This presentation explores how wearable technology, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, can elevate your safety program to new levels of effectiveness. By combining advanced environmental and ergonomic sensors with real-time data analysis and push to talk communication, wearables with the right approach enable organizations to identify potential hazards before incidents occur and empower the front-line worker. Learn how AI-driven insights can transform workplace safety by providing actionable intelligence, fostering proactive interventions, improve engagement, and enhance worker well-being while preserving worker privacy. Attendees will discover the benefits of using connected worker solutions to minimize risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a safer, more productive industrial environment.

The Iowa-Illinois Safety Council (IISC) has been incorporated in Iowa since 1953 and a chapter of the National Safety Council since 1980.
