Traditions and Gratitude

November 23, 2020

From all of us at MākuSafe, we wish you and your family a happy and safe Thanksgiving! While we know Thanksgiving might look a little different this year as we all strive to do our part to stop the spread of COVID, it also gives us an opportunity to focus on the things we are grateful for. Take a moment to get to know our team, our traditions and what we are giving thanks for this year!

Pumpkin Pie is a fan favorite on the MākuSafe team, but Pecan Pie isn’t too far behind!

Gravy. Pour it on or or put it away? Turns out, most of the the team loves a good boat of gravy at their Thanksgiving table!

Now here is where it gets controversial. With 2020 being, well…2020, will your tree go up before Thanksgiving for some added cheer or should Christmas back off and wait its turn? The race is tight on this one, with a slight majority letting Thanksgiving claim its special time.

Traditions can be a great way to bring everyone together in spirit, even if they can’t all be at the table together. We know Thanksgiving celebrations may look a little different in a pandemic, but the MākuSafe team shared the traditions that make their holiday feel special.

We are thankful for……

Essential workers!

Calvin Hall and his fabulous TypeScript powers.

That our home is a good place to be. It’s a place to rest, feel safe, laugh, cry, connect and love.

Finally getting my foot in the door to a career. A “real” job. (with MākuSafe)

I’m thankful for my wonderful family and friends! Wishing them all good health and happiness!

I am thankful for my family and getting to spend more time at home with my wife and kids.

I am very Thankful for my wonderful son, a safe home, and a bright future.

Our family’s continued health and wellbeing, and our talented & committed MakuSafe team!

For MākuSafe, getting an opportunity to work in this amazing company, and my new cat.

That I get to spend more 1-1 time with kids. The business of life sometimes robs that from us.

Health, family, and friends.

I’m really grateful for having my family being healthy and safe.

Family and Friends that have made 2020 easier to get through. (A little wine has also helped!)

I am most thankful for a healthy family this year and blessed to work with the Makusafe team!

I’m grateful for wine and sweatpants, healthy and safe family/friends and MākuSafe’s leadership team that puts family and safety first!

I’m thankful I love what I do every day and that I have supportive family, friends and colleagues.

What are you thankful for?
